Delivery
We off in-store pick-up, local delivery on Cape Cod, and priority shipping on many of our products. You can select which delivery method you prefer in the cart. If the shipping option does not appear then an item in your cart cannot be shipped (such as florals or perishables like cheese). If you want to have items delivered to multiple addresses then you must place an order per address.

Mother of Pearl Caviar Spoon
The name is old and quietly literal. Medieval Latin called it mater perlarum, the mother of pearls: The luminous lining of the shell that, given time and a grain of sand, becomes a pearl itself. It is also the traditional way to serve caviar.
Silver reacts with the salt and natural minerals in fine roe and can leave a faint metallic trace on the palate. Mother of pearl (MOP or nacre) does not. It is cool, smooth and entirely neutral, so each spoonful tastes only of the caviar—clean, buttery, and exactly as the producer intended. Its gentle bowl lifts the pearls without pressing them.
